# Email settings

Your portal will send a range of automated emails to users about their activity, access and account. You can customise the email settings, logos and sender name from Settings>Emails and include a custom welcome email body.&#x20;

Custom sender email is only available on Pro and Enterprise plans, a custom subdomain must be in place. Please get in touch with support about upgrading.

### Portal notifications&#x20;

Customise notifications settings for all users on the portal in the Email Notifications settings. For some notifications, users can override them from their account page (see below)

### User notification settings

Any user type can manage their own notification settings by going to their account page and to the Email settings section. No matter a users notification settings they will still get emails in the following situations;&#x20;

* Automated or manually sent exam notification emails&#x20;
* Bulk or single message by an admin or educator from the platform&#x20;
