# Negative Scoring

To enable negative scoring, create or go to an existing test, then select the 'Scoring' tab on the left hand menu. From there you can select the checkbox to enable Negative scoring.&#x20;

Once enabled you can adjust the default value given to an incorrect response.&#x20;

Further to this, if you go to a question in a test that has Negative scroing enabled, you can adjust the negative score default at the question level. So each question can have its own negative scoring configuration.&#x20;
