The Notes feature lets you create rich-text learning materials, which you can then import into your courses. Notes can be typed directly into Synap, or copied and pasted from another source such as a website or Word document.
To create a new Note, go to Library -> Notes, whilst logged in as an administrator or educator, then click 'Create Note' in the top right hand corner of your screen.
You will then be presented with a text editor with a number of familiar options for formatting your note. You can also copy and paste from webpages or Word documents.
We recommend keeping Synap notes relatively short - around 300-500 words if possible to reinforce the 'bite sized' nature of our courses. Remember, no-one likes reading huge walls of text from a screen so try to use images, lists and bullet points to break up your text into simple, short chunks.
