Quizzes are a fantastic way to boost user engagement and increase knowledge retention. With Synap you can make quizzes directly in the platform and then add them to courses.
Step 1: Create a Quiz
From the dashboard, head to the library in the left-hand navigation bar and select 'Quiz' from the drop-down menu.
From here, you will need to give your quiz a title before you can add any questions. You can also include a brief description of what the quiz will be about.
Step 2: Adding Questions
To add your first question to a quiz select 'Content' just under 'Quiz details', this will take you to the question section. To add your first question, simply type your answer in the box near the top of the page. You can then begin to add up to 5 answers. To change an answer to the correct option, click the X button. All questions need at least one correct and one incorrect answer but multiple correct or incorrect answers can be added.
To add more questions, right-click on the 'Add question' box at the bottom of the page and repeat the process above.
Step 3: Adding Images and Feedback
Feedback: You have the option to provide feedback to anyone who takes the quiz which is useful if you need to explain the answer further. Feedback can be written in the box near the bottom of the page.
Images: Images can also be added to questions and/or feedback by selecting the image icon to upload your chosen file.
Step 4: Saving Changes
Once you're happy with your question and possible responses click 'Save' to save any changes.
All quizzes will be stored in the library and can be added to courses during course creation.
