Adding custom marks and a rubric to questions

How to add custom credits to questions, handy for long form questions and using on platform marking

By default all questions created on Synap will be worth 1 credit, this credit is achieved when a use answers a question correctly. Credits are used to calculate score. You can change the default number of credits and partial per quiz from the scoring configuration. Or update each individual question via the Marking tab to be worth a specific number of questions

✍️ Create rubrics on questions

From the question editor user the Marking tab on each question to add a rubric / mark scheme per question. You can include additional information to show to markers. Use rubrics to guide markers on where to award marks.

Markers will be guided on where to award credits and will not be able to award above the set maximum credits.
