⏳Limit membership duration for user groups

Ensure users only have access to group collections and permissions for the time they need, streamlining access management without manual intervention.

We’re excited to introduce our latest feature: Limit Membership Duration for non-default user groups. This powerful tool allows you to set a specific time limit on how long a user remains a member of a group. Once the set duration is reached, the user’s access to the group will automatically be revoked.

How It Works:

• Configurable Duration: Set a relative time limit (e.g., 5 days) for group membership. Once a user joins the group, their membership will be automatically revoked after the set period. For example, if a user joins on August 21st at 1pm with a 5-day limit, they will be removed from the group on August 26th at 1pm.

• Automatic Updates: Any changes you make to the membership duration will apply instantly to all existing users. For instance, if you reduce the limit from 10 days to 7 days, users who have already been in the group for more than 7 days will be removed immediately after saving the change.

• Membership Expiry Tracking: Easily view the exact date and time a user will be removed from the group via the user management table, alongside when they originally joined.
