The introduction of the marking UI for exam attempts and changes to the definition of completed attempts
Introducing a brand new marking system on Synap. Admins and Educators can now mark free text answers and file upload in exams & leave student users feedback on any question types. On platform marking has been one of the most requested features we've ever had

We are making major upates to the platform, including what has been one of the most requested features ever: Marking students answers on platform. ✍️
This has meant we've had to change the platforms definition of a completed attempt:
Exams and quizzes with long form questions are no longer marked as complete until the marks have been added and the results finalised.
When deferred results are enabled, attempts will not be marked as completed until the results are released.
Note this may have implications on certain Zapier workflows you may have set up. If you have any questions please get in touch with your account manager.
