Embed presentations
Learn how to use the embed item type to embed presentations in Courses and Collections, you can use the embed for other types of content in iframes
Presentations (.ppt, .pptx) that have been uploaded to Synap are all converted to .pdf, and display as a static document. To retain animations and other presentation features use the Embed item type and embed presentations via a link from OneDrive or Google Drive or other alternatives.
How to embed from Google Drive
Open a file in Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides.
At the top, click File. Publish to the web.
In the window that appears, click Embed.
Choose a publishing option
Once the presentations is published (and public) copy the generated iframe

Navigate back to your Synap portal, and through the course builder or library select the option for Embed.
Paste in the entire iframe snippet & save
Once done a copy of the presentation item will be available in your library to use in Courses or Collections. Customise further by changing the Embed label to something else which is how this item will display to your end users.
