There are lots of ways you can customise your portal. If you've not already, head over to Settings from the main menu to get started.
General is where you can customise the high level things on the portal. Keep in mind the Portal name is used in all email correspondence to your users. You can't change your portal URL from here but leave a message using the chat widget and one of our support team will be happy to assist
When enabled users can have access to Synap's iOS and Android mobile apps. Users will be able to download these apps from their profile pop up.
Interested in a mobile app for your users or a custom domain? These are available on our Pro plans, drop us a message on the chat widget for more information
Choose whether or not to hide / show Synap's default footer to students (note this will always need to show for admins). Decide whether or not to use our Terms & conditions and Privacy policy or add in your own. This can either be a external link (Custom URL) or create your own using a note on Synap.
Customise the portal with your own branding, add logos, colours and a default card image. Upload clear, high quality images in the recommended sizes (see below)
Logo - Used across the platform, in emails & generated certificates - 300x100px
Recommend a PNG with transparent background
Square logo - Used in the top left corner home button throughout the portal - 100x100px
Recommend a PNG with transparent background
Favicon - Used in web tabs - 30x30px
Recommend a PNG with transparent background
Default card - Used when custom covers aren't provided for exams, collections, collection items, courses & assignments - 490x300px
Recommend not including too much text on covers as they are not responsive, default cards and cards are the same size. If users are going to have lots of content we recommend making the top level cards (courses & collections) different so they can easily navigate through them, then having a default card for each bit of content works well.
Primary colour - A hex code that will set your menu icon colour as well as all titles
Secondary colour - A hex code to set all the secondary colours on platform (card buttons)
Primary & Secondary button colour - will be inferred from Primary and Secondary so leave blank if you want them to be the same.
