You can now re-open a completed exam so that all future users added to the exam group will be enrolled into the same exam. And you can also 'un-expire' expired attempts individually or on bulk to help users who have missed the exam sit within the same exam group. Previously this was handled through cloning the exam, creating a new exam late comers group and setting the exam to that group which you don't need to do anymore so its less set up and you get to keep the results analytics and exports all under the same exam!
If you've got users who have missed the exam start window and the exam has closed because the close window was met you can now select one or more of those attempts to 'un-expire' them by giving them a new open/close time independent from the one set at the exam level.
To update the start / close times on expired attempts, head over to the exam>users table and select the attempts. Then use the control panel to update timer
Once an exam has been completed you can re-open it on the schedule page. Re-opening an exam will generate attempts for any users who were added to the exam's user group since the original close window. It will also generate attempts for any users added to the group after the exam is re-opened, but before the new close date.
Click on the 'Reopen exam' drop down and enter the updated open and close times. Confirm by selecting 'Reopen exam'
Re-opening an exam will not re-open existing expired attempts. To re-open these go to the exams users page and use the adjust time function
